Features a soft buckram inner and a plaited bonded leather band with a brass Akubra plate.

TO DETERMINE YOUR HAT SIZE FOLLOW THESE 3 SIMPLE STEPS:
- Measure the circumference around your head - approximately 12mm (1/2") above the ears
- Keep the dressmaker tape level and firm, across the temple and above the eyebrow ridges.
- Check the size chart given below.
NOTE: For in-between measurements use the next size up.

For an enduring fit with your new Akubra the following points should be considered:
- The Sheepskin inner band of the hat may shrink slightly with use. Do not expect a tight-fitting hat to 'loosen up'
- In time, the hat will conform to your head shape. Initially, a slightly loose-fitting hat can be adjusted using folded tissue placed behind the inner band, then removed as the hat conforms to your head shape.
AKUBRA HAT CLEARANCE – TERMS OF PURCHASE
This year Akubra disappointingly made the decision to cut ties with small, locally owned retailers across Australia. Therefore, as of early 2025 we will no longer be stocking and selling Akubra products.
We are offering our customers a discount on the remaining Akubra hats we have, with the following terms:
- Hats can be exchanged from 2nd Jan 2025 onwards for another Akubra hat we have in stock, or a Redbournberry Clothing Co credit note will be provided to spend on other products in the shop.
- We will not be receiving any further Akubra stock. If we don’t have the hat you want to exchange for, you will be provided with a Redbournberry Clothing Co credit note. No refunds will be given.
- If you wish to exchange your hat after Christmas, we suggest returning your hat as soon as possible from 2nd Jan, so you have a better chance of getting the hat you want.
- If you wish to exchange your hat or return it for credit, you are responsible for the freight costs to do so. Hats must be in original conditioning & packaging in order to exchange or credit.
- Our last day of Akubra trading will be 28th Feb 2025. No exchanges or credits can be provided on Akubra products after that date.
